Ed & Mary Kinney look over the granite marker that was put in place on July 8, 2000 by the Native Daughters of the Golden West. Ed and Mary donated the house and grounds to the historical society in 1994.
From left to right are shown Ed Kinney; Pete Patterson, a descendent of Clarence Patterson; and Bob Domenigoni, a descendant of the founder of Domenigoni Valley place the marker in the pedestal. The pedestal was constructed by Chris Forcier using bricks from The Miller Building and bricks from the Patterson House.
