Windmill To Be Donated Last month we received a phone call from local resident, Chris Maciel, who is in the business of restoring old furniture. We had a long conversation about the community and its history. In our conversation he mentioned he had a old windmill with "Winchester" on it and he feels it came from the Winchester Store. He informed us that it is in need of some parts and repair but said that he would donate the windmill and all we need do is pay for the parts that need to be purchased. We have already picked out a sight to place it inside the grounds of the Patterson House. We will keep you informed. Our Cupboards Are Full Up till now all the artifacts that have been donated are being stored at this newsletter publishers home. With the completion of the work at the Patterson House we hope to move some of them there for display and storage. The more prized and older artifacts will still be securely kept in a spot that is safe such as the Winchester Doll and the Wells Fargo coin. What we will be needing in the near future are display cases, storage bins, and bookcases. If you would like to help contact us at the address or phone number below. What Does It Cost A recent e-mail asked the cost of sending out this newsletter. At the present time we print 250 copies each month and mail over 100 to people.
